That just happened?!?!

Rafer Alston...

17 points, 9 assists and 5 rebounds. What the hell? This is like the third or fourth time he's borderline flirted with a triple double this year. Yesterday was the first time it actually meant something in the final score though. I'm still confused.

He shot 6-14 (3-7 on 3s)... which isn't special, unless your name is "Rafer Alston" - though I must say, I'm in disbelief. Rafer was....... good?

Ah, I'm not going to put too much stock in this. In a league where Chris Duhon scores 34 last night, Linas Kleiza scores over 40 a few weeks ago and where a 35 year old fat and slow center making $20M is acquired by a running team looking to cut costs - anything is possible.

Look on the bright side? The Rockets have won 5 in a row and 10 of 11. 29-20 on the season.

Go Rockets!

Since when is halfway(5 of the necessary 10 boards) considered flirting. He was flirting with a double-double which is my least favorite phrase considering it was basically a requirement to start in the nba in 80's

I'm the last person to ever support Rafer Alston. That said - check his box scores since the end of December... he's had a few 7 rebound, 9 assist and 12 assist, 8 rebound games... thus, he has been "flirting" with it - even if last night wasn't the best example.
