Damn the man! Bench Luther Head!

With the surprising, yet very welcome, return of Aaron Brooks from injury for tonight's game......... I had an epiphany! I have found the perfect role model for Luther Head!

Luther... meet Lucas.

Lucas here is, according to his boss, kind of a screw-up, too. Apparently, he is not allowed to leave the couch he is currently sitting on. Ever.

Oh, and Luther, since we probably won't be needing your services for a while... how 'bout you treat the bench like Lucas' couch.........?

Under no circumstances do I want you to leave the Rockets' bench... unless it's to get Daryl Morey $4M of cap relief, and then you bring it to him directly, okay?

Ah, I love to see your hate in blossom. I’m sure Alston is feeling some relief.

Head is a weird player. Sometimes he looks amazing. Sometimes he looks amazingly crappy. There is no in between. Consistency is a virtue in the NBA…

We need 2 good months from Luther...

I’d really like to see Luthifer Head have about 2 really good months, so we can trade him for something useful. Like canned tuna. Or an umbrella. Or an old couch. Or some sub-prime mortgages. Maybe a backup C or PG, who knows? Or a Zune.

No longer playing point

In Luther Head’s defense he should never ever have to play point again. Seriously. Chuck Hayes is a better passer than Head.
With Brooks back we won’t have to see Head at point anymore (thank God!)
Head isn’t bad when he does what he’s good at- moving without the ball, and shooting open 3 pointers.
Hopefully that’s all he’ll do the rest of the season.

What if...

Hey Dave,
If we get rid of Luther and Rafer plays well enough that you have to stick to your promises. Who are you going to take your wrath out on? Because, I’m starting to think you might explode if someone on the Rockets doesn’t suck.
