T-Mac Dallas FGs
The only conclusions that can be made from the following data is don't design plays that make T-Mac wide open and give him the ball when he has at least one defender on him, the more the better.

The only thing I learned from last night
was to always put Scola on Nowitzki. It’s funny to see Dirk get busted in the mouth.

We should've posted up T-Mac all game long
We did a terrible job of exposing that matchup.

I am just going to repress the entire memory of the Dallas game now…

rockets offense
the rockets offense is struggling mightily but its only because adelman pretends yao ming is like brad miller or vlade divac, stop putting him in the high post and make him the first option in the low post. use more versatile lineups and sets, they are so predictable.

adelman seems lost
His play calls and lineup decisions are so weird sometimes, I’m getting sick of him already….

Ok, a little history lesson
The majority of the 22 game winning streak came when (drum roll please) Yao was sidelined and Rafer somehow was averaging like 15 and 8 dimes or something… I have been very leery of Adelman since the day he was announced as our new Coach, but I was willing to give him a chance. So far, I am not impressed. First of all slamkab is right, Yao needs to have a permanent place of residence like directly under the hoop. Secondly, hasn’t the princeton offensive scheme been pretty lame in the NBA historically? Yeah, we will sit somewhere in the .600 range, but all the teams that use it have never won an NBA championship! Which brings me to my next question, do you think our win percentage as it stands right now will get us in the playoffs? Sure we lead the division, but that could change.

winning % needs to increase
We need to start winning much more often and fast, the western conference is fiercely competitive and we’re just seeing teams start to come together.

Just a bit of extra history
The Rockets did not win a “majority” without Yao. They had won 12 in a row when he went down. They did win a ridiculous 10 more games without him.
I do completely agree that Yao shouldn’t be running the offense from the top of the key, however in the last 3 games he’s played, he’s started to flow with that part of the game about 60% better than he ever has. So maybe it’s going somewhere. It does need to get 100% of the way there in a quick way though
