Worried Fan Here

Hi there Dreamshakers,

I'm a Rocket fan in Austin in search of a tv station that regularly airs Rockets games. My roommates and I have the at&t uverse u200 + sports package deal. We have the FSN Houston channel. However, all Rockets games(preseason and regular season) have been blacked out so far on FSN. I've only been able to catch a game on TNT.

Anyone know how I can watch Rockets games? I've only thought of calling at&t, which I haven't done yet. Somehow I'm pessimistic about anything being resolved that way :|

It's all league policy. But you can get the NBA pass. They have an online edition I believe.

I’m guessing the league policy is you can’t watch the local team’s games outside of that city. Very lame. Why punish the fan who is away for watching the same game with same amount of ads streaking? I won’t and really can’t afford to spend more than I’m already spending on tv/internets :S.

Is there a free/cheaper way :?

Do you have fast Internet?

I had to deal with this for 4 years in Austin. Thank God I’m out of UT now. Luckily I had a fast Internet, so I could use online streaming. www.justin.tv has been fairly reliable.
