So did you hear the one about...

So... a midget walks onto the court last night.

Said midget gets double-digits in rebounds.

Sounds crazy... but it is true!

Not bad for a midget.  The T-Wolves must really suck.  And since the Rockets only won by 7, I have no idea what that says about Houston.

Meandering Anecdote

So, midget eh?

Some years back I was eating at the Avalon Diner, when they had one over by the Summit, when it was still you know, an arena. (Speaking of which, I’d like Lakewood to introduce preachers with smoke, and lasers – At 6’1", from Some Seminary!!! Reverrrrrrrrend Jooooooooooooel OOOOOOOOOOOOOsteen!!!! Like that. It’s only fair to the poor old Summit.)

Anyhow, eating at the Avalon diner, and in come these three enormous, strong-looking dudes, looking for a late breakfast. Totally cut, solid muscle, tats flying proudly. They made me slightly nervous. So. Those big guys? Steve Francis, Moochie Norris, Cuttino Mobley. Small for the NBA is very large for The World. Yes, this was in the Stevie Franchise days.
