No Excuses, but...
I dont want to make excuses, because we played awful last night. But I do have to say from the stands that the officiating looked pretty awful. Yao had waht, 12 points? Because he was hacked all night and got nothing. Same with Carl Landry. When was the last time that guy got to shoot a free throw? He gets hammered in the paint and cant buy a whistle…

It looks like the officiating was okay. Yao will always get hacked. But the Rockets settled for 3s and never took the ball to the basket until the 4th Q.

Yao was hacked a lot
but the shock and anger value doesn’t register as high to us anymore. We’re desensitized to Yao getting jobbed by the refs. We expect it basically. He simply doesn’t get calls (whether or not they’re correct) that other star players do.
