Open Thread: Rockets - Bucks
It's very late, but as this game gets close, I figured everyone watching needed somewhere to vent. COMMENT.

at the game
I was at the game…something just doesn’t feel right…when u lose one game to a 5 win tema and barely beat another bad team in the East AT HOME, something can’t be good…Rockets need to get Healthy real bad!
I also think our lineup should be
PG Brooks
SG T- Mac
SF Battier
PF Scola
C Yao
and the onlly ppl off the bench should be landry, artest, barry, (sometimes Mutumbo)…no real need for Alston…AB and Barry and T Mac can run the point

Tee hee
All of games, this is an odd day to say that Rafer isn’t needed, seeing how he basically won us the game with his surprising ability to play good defense on a taller Michael Redd. Not to mention that Brooks was basically impersonating Rafer with his shooting. Brooks was playing SG by the way, and Barry can’t really play the point at this point of his career.

Good things, bad things
In the 1st half, it looked like we were going to blow these suckers out. The offense showed signs of coming to form, but our defensive intensity gave us the double digit lead. But then the 2nd half came and it was the Wizards game all over again.
I know T-Mac gave us 10 assists and 0 turnovers, but damn… he’s not driving to the basket AT ALL! I don’t know what the deal is, but his penetration and general movement in the offense is crucial to our success on offense.
Better game from Yao.
I hope Brooks didn’t run into the sophomore wall. This basically happened to him last year too if I’m not mistaken. Then gradually he fell out of Adelman’s rotation in the 2nd half of the season. Hopefully he comes out of this. If he doesn’t, then Rafer has to play 35+ minutes and we may have to make another Bobby Jackson type of trade. Despite AB playing SG today, he was real hesitant with his shot. I don’t care what his stats are. If he’s the SG and he’s open, he better take the shot because that’s his role.
Seeing AB’s inconsistencies and Rafer’s outstanding defense, this justifies Rafer not only starting, but being there at the end as well.

were u watching the same game i watched last night?
Brooks shot the ball 12 times? if thats being hesitant with his shot then i dunno what not being hesitant is…he struggled today to shoot, it happens, he hits his ft’s though…redd had 20 points on 7-13 shooting…i wouldnt say thats good Defense by rafer

Should've shot more
There were plenty of times where he was hesitant to shoot when he was open. I think he’s lost confidence in his shot.
Rafer wasn’t guarding Redd the whole game, but was guarding him at the end when it counted the most. He played well.

T-Mac
I agree completely…
Tracy absolutely refuses to take the ball inside now. If he’s hurt, fine, but sit out and get healthy. If you’re going to play – play! And that means being aggressive and not settling for jump shots. Because T-Mac dominates the ball too much to be passive in this offense.

I didn't see the game
but there’s more to the game than just basic stats. Even if Redd had a good game, he might have been shut down late. I can’t justify anything, but a statline doesn’t always reveal exactly what happened.
