Von Wafer
Does anyone else see a possible star in him?
I know there was just an article posted about him but I mean he honestly looks like the old mcgrady to me. I think he should start anyone else think so?
Even though you will probably say it will disrupt the line-ups he has solid defense and a great scorer. I think he is our next big thing and could be one of the big pieces to get us a championship.
And he almost got cut...

Well
I did post something celebrating him, and I do think he’s talented, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. In the world of sports, once you become noticed, you become the subject of game film. At this point, no opposing coach would bother study Von’s pros and cons and think of ways to stop him. But once he becomes a focus of teams, that’s when we will really see what he’s made of. For now, be appreciative of his accomplishments as a role player, but don’t rush to make him a star just yet.

I like him a lot, but...
The one area McGrady excels in where Wafer will never excel:
handling the ball and passing. McGrady is able to play the point-forward role. He’s confident running the offense. Wafer will never be a ball handler (he dribbles too upright). But he’s contributing more to the TEAM than T-Mac is this year.
