Stackhouse a possibility
One of the peculiar things grungedave pointed out was the fact that Joey Dorsey might not make the roster. The possible addition of Stackhouse would answer the questions. I'm not saying it's happening, but this could be what Morey has lined up. I like Stackhouse but he's getting pretty old.

I have to add fifteen more words so I'm going to put an extra sentence here just to fill up the space.
No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Thanks.

Stackhouse or Stephen Jackson?
Golden State needs bigs. Send Cook, Joey, Barry, and maybe Taylor to GS for Jackson. Fills a big hole now and he only costs about $7 mil.

Why would you want Stephen Jackson? Once T-Mac comes back, it will be batteir, T-Mac, Ariza and Stephen Jackson competing for SF/SG. People like Bundiger will get no chance to develop.

Do you REALLY want …
… a guy like Stephen Jackson around the team’s young players?
I think he’d be a very bad influence on these young guys.
Although, I think I’d like almost any trade that would get Cook of the books and off the roster…

Jackson
Jackson on a leaderless theam has been bad. On the Spurs he shut up and played. Battier and Scola would do the same for him here IMO. Adelman is also not Nellie.

If Jackson is traded…
…I see the Warriors shipping him to a team in the Eastern Conference…

bringing jackson here
is just not thinking long-term, and everyone knows that’s how morey operates.
and with the whole ‘lets ship barry out thing,’ i’m kind of curious as to what happened with him because he’s taping team previews for NBA tv with eric snow, some of them are up on nba.com (ie the wizards preview).
Wafer . . . again. (Marv Albert, HOU v. CLE Feb 2009)

shit
it’s not thinking short-term either. I really don’t understand the fascination with Jackson. He’s not a particularly good player.

He’s all but retired. He hasn’t officially retired, so the Rockets can still trade his contract, but he has already said he won’t be returning to the court this year.

i do agree with the jackson thing because of a very similar situation
Rasheed Wallace. he had to try to take a leadership role in portland like jackson has to in GS. if he comes here, i think he’ll be smart enough to know battier and scola are the captains. look wat happened to sheed in detroit. he was very good and he kept his mouth shut. i wouldn’t mind this move although we may not have room for him. (i’d be ok with putting t-mac in that trade (make it look better for GS) for jackson and exclude barry (nobody would want him i bet). i think GS may like it because they love shooters. t-mac can shoot, taylor can at times, and what really may intrigue them is (im going to shoot myself for saying this) cook. i think don nelson wouldnt mind a shooting big man (he’s actually had a decent pre-season shooting and playing d and getting boards). but thats just me, not don nelson’s point of view unfortunately.

I’m sure some teams would like to get Barry’s expiring contract.
If Houston doesn’t buy him out, they probably trade his contract to someone who needs cap relief.

one last thing
artest and jackson both have big mouths, adelman was able to shut artest up. i bet he can do it with jackson. i also agree with the morey thinking long term all the time so this trade is not going to happen probly.

I don't want either guy coming
what is the point…i seriously doubt we are going to win a title this year, so we might as well let the rooks get some playin time
