Excerpts From The Book The NBA Doesn't Want You To Read
While publisher Random House will reportedly not publish Tim Donaghy's book "Blowing the Whistle: The Culture of Fraud in the NBA" because of liability concerns, deadspin.com printed what it calls excerpts of the book.
I find it pretty interesting, even if there is no supporting corroboration.

just as a preface
i find it pretty laughable and although i think there may be certain refs with biases as that is a part of human nature, there is no way the league directs them on what to do…

In the investigation
It was revealed that Donaghy was only really chasing the dollar. If he was willing to put his career/the reputation of his co-workers/the entire NBA on the line for money, a few lies in a book is nothing.

There is nothing that is implausible in what has leaked
In fact, it’s completely believable

sure nothing is implausible
but it just sounds like exactly what we are thinking in our heads but we dont want to hear.
although the fact that the nba and everyone else are completely ignoring it only strengthens its case.
at least he could have mentioned the treatment of Yao. then i’ll hop on board! :P
