Contract extension for Aaron Brooks?

Word is the Rockets will extend Aaron Brooks' contract...

Do you guys like the idea of doing that now or should the team have waited a little longer before doing so?

Personally, I am in favor of Brooks getting his contract extended. His game is improving so I see no reason why they should not reward the guy. I think he will continue to just keep getting better and better.

The poll is up. Vote early and often.

Should the Rockets extend Aaron Brooks' contract?
Yes. Brooks has shown enough to get the extension.

No. The team should wait until he has played more games first.

They couldn't have waited any longer...

the deadline was today. And its not really an extension, its more like picking up an option. One year and 2 million dollars is nothing. Of course they picked it up.

You are right about that.

My bad. I am happy they did pick up his option anyways…

I had to stop arguing with drunks, Steeler fans, and all other fools.
It was making my brick wall jealous...

Did I miss it?

Or does anyone know if the Rockets picked up the 2010-2011 option for Joey Dorsey?

but i do.....

hope he does get a reasonably lengthy contract extension. he’s got the sickest release, beast from 3 point land, is an actually good PG than ppl give him credit for, and he is a good driver with great floor vision. plus the man put the moves on kobe last year in the playoffs! i want a pg that can look the best in the face and not hesitate to back down. glad he wears that rockets red.
