McGrady backpedaled to avoid the appearance of calling the shots for the Rockets.

All is well in the world.

No one, McGrady or Rockets management want this to go badly. Also, Tracy probably realizes who has the leverage now. Last year it was him, now its the Rockets.

If the Red Nation apparatchiks start talking about a Five Year Plan, I'm out of here.

you know, no matter how many times I try to convince my empiricist friends that their world view rests on as many unwarranted assumptions as my own, they just don’t buy it. I think it’s because they don’t take the evidence seriously, so they must be arguing from intuition, which is just hilarious to me.
