Chase Bud
Vote him into the all star game! Use your write in vote on Chase Budinger! All star voting has started, if he continues with the way he’s playing, he deserves it XD

At the beginning of the game they asked who was the biggest rival
Utah, Dallas or SA.
Bullard said Utah without hesitation.

The Rockets defense in this quarter has been really good except for a few small lapses on open 3s. In fact, that might actually be part of the defensive plan

At some point
you think people would realize that we’re a very good team without TMac and Yao, but it hasn’t happened yet. Yeah, we don’t have anybody who will make the cover of NBA Live, but there are 8 or 9 guys who are handily above average NBA players.

Welcome to The Dream Shake.
Andersen has a sweet shot. He looks like he knows what he’s doing out there.
He’s an NBA player, no doubt about it. His D is still tuned for a Euro game – soft in some areas, too much contact in others.
Can you tell us – does he have a nickname in Australia?
If the Red Nation apparatchiks start talking about a Five Year Plan, I'm out of here.
by Xiane on Nov 10, 2009 8:35 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
to be honest
he’s been in Europe for so long (he played one season in Australia in 1998-99 i think) that very very few of us here have actually seen him. . .
I think i’ve only ever seen him in Olympic/International play – and that’s obviously rare. .
so unfortunately no, we dont have a nickname here. . .he’s as ‘new’ to us as he is new to you ;) But im glad to finally get to see him play

by suzaku on Nov 10, 2009 9:57 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Oh, I haven’t forgotten. Problem is, this team can’t afford to have three players taking slightly over 30% of the team’s shots, and only making 20% of those shots. With this team, there is very little margin for error.
I just hope this loss doesn’t come back to haunt the Rockets toward the end of the season, if they happen to be just a game or two out of the playoffs.

but do you get an idea form watching the game that teams are starting to learn how to play us?
That’s why we need to have other ways, other weapons to win aside from our uptempo style and ball movement. There isn’t just anyone YET skilled enough to take leadership and right the ship when nothing is working.
Oh well, all of this is tuition. We’re constantly learning. Not every game will look good. Go, Rockets!
