ooh, ooh, I know the answer!
“what is ‘two players who aren’t in the NBA anymore’?”
am I right, Alex?
no?
Chase Bud
Vote him into the all star game! Use your write in vote on Chase Budinger! All star voting has started, if he continues with the way he’s playing, he deserves it XD
any1 have a link to the yahoo game cast...
i somehow fail at life and cany find it
The Jazz are the Rockets biggest rival
It’s not arguable

At the beginning of the game they asked who was the biggest rival
Utah, Dallas or SA.
Bullard said Utah without hesitation.

What a stupid foul call on Scola
That’s let go 99 out of 100 times
www.TheDreamShake.com Co-Founder and Writer
Note to Rockets: Please stop leaving Maverick's wide open from outside
www.TheDreamShake.com Co-Founder and Writer
I was refering to Marion bowling over Scola
On the Ariza one, he traveled before the foul

Great block by Ariza!
The Rockets defense in this quarter has been really good except for a few small lapses on open 3s. In fact, that might actually be part of the defensive plan
www.TheDreamShake.com Co-Founder and Writer
nearly 40 points in the first quarter...
rockets doing really well
This is such a likable team.
They can actually light up the scoreboard.

Absolutely
They are just fun to watch, period
There will be plenty of times when shots aren’t falling, but right now that is obviously not the case

Aaron Brooks is on a level that I've never seen him on before

it helps when the guy guarding you
is about eight steps behind you, but he’s also blowing by everyone.
Man I love reading opponent game threads this year
Everyone gets pissed off when they’re losing to the Rockets
It's been a hidden gem for sure
Always is something like “How the dasfjdkljowjeiqwf iowe;j4302u842309u 8 are we losing to the Yao/McGrady-less Rockets?”
www.TheDreamShake.com Co-Founder and Writer
At some point
you think people would realize that we’re a very good team without TMac and Yao, but it hasn’t happened yet. Yeah, we don’t have anybody who will make the cover of NBA Live, but there are 8 or 9 guys who are handily above average NBA players.

In the history of my watching the NBA, no one has tried what Morey is doing
He’s Billy Beane with the ability at a real payroll (sadly it’s injured now)

Im still disturbed by the Red Sox revelation.
But the condition is treatable. With lots of therapy, radiation and drugs you MIGHT be able to live a normal life.
If the Red Nation apparatchiks start talking about a Five Year Plan, I'm out of here.
What's really disorienting
Those two dudes wearing throwback mavs unis.

The "White Shadow" lives

This wasn't the opening I expected - wow!
Also, it will be fun when Andersen and Budinger stop getting the “rookie whistle”.

Great post move, made even better by one simple fact
Drew Gooden sucks
www.TheDreamShake.com Co-Founder and Writer
This might be a good game to get him 30-35 minutes - if the refs let him play.

It could be a good one, as I see it, as long as Dirk doesn't try to muscle him in the lane.

Anderson!
Get this man a nickname!

Rick Adelman called a timely time out
How has this not been mentioned yet?
www.TheDreamShake.com Co-Founder and Writer
In Australia
it has been over 10 years since they broadcasted NBA games. . .
and today they’re showing Rockets/Mavs. .
im so stoked to see Anderson do well (so far!).
(and Bogut last week :p)
Welcome to The Dream Shake.
Andersen has a sweet shot. He looks like he knows what he’s doing out there.
He’s an NBA player, no doubt about it. His D is still tuned for a Euro game – soft in some areas, too much contact in others.
Can you tell us – does he have a nickname in Australia?
If the Red Nation apparatchiks start talking about a Five Year Plan, I'm out of here.
to be honest
he’s been in Europe for so long (he played one season in Australia in 1998-99 i think) that very very few of us here have actually seen him. . .
I think i’ve only ever seen him in Olympic/International play – and that’s obviously rare. .
so unfortunately no, we dont have a nickname here. . .he’s as ‘new’ to us as he is new to you ;) But im glad to finally get to see him play
Man I forgot to set my recorder for it
oh well tonight will have the replay
"It's who we are," Battier said. "I don't think we're going to get the love of the six foot blonde bombshell. That's what the Lakers are here for. It's alright, I like our demographic."
He's been simply awesome so far this year. I want to see what he' do with 35 minutes a night.
But not tonight – guarding Dirk is tough for him – another foul.
If the Red Nation apparatchiks start talking about a Five Year Plan, I'm out of here.
it's not uncommon for euro-centers to shoot 3s i dont think?
. . .after so many years in Europe i suspect he’s still trying to adjust. . .
yep, fiba size
"It's who we are," Battier said. "I don't think we're going to get the love of the six foot blonde bombshell. That's what the Lakers are here for. It's alright, I like our demographic."
Ariza rushes his threes a little too much
He’s almost automatic when he sets.
The odd thing is, he has time a lot of the time and just doesn’t take it

Damn - Dallas making a run - we got sloppy
If the Red Nation apparatchiks start talking about a Five Year Plan, I'm out of here.
WHAAT IS HAPPENING?
we were up by 17..
now its 4????
oh, right... 8.8/9.7 a game...
just used to him being so bad…
yeah that would be so heavy...
imagine if they land a decent C when Damp expires
"It's who we are," Battier said. "I don't think we're going to get the love of the six foot blonde bombshell. That's what the Lakers are here for. It's alright, I like our demographic."
they would be soo deep
"It's who we are," Battier said. "I don't think we're going to get the love of the six foot blonde bombshell. That's what the Lakers are here for. It's alright, I like our demographic."
Dallas
if they buy a good C next season with Damps money 1-7 positions would be very solid
"It's who we are," Battier said. "I don't think we're going to get the love of the six foot blonde bombshell. That's what the Lakers are here for. It's alright, I like our demographic."
he always plays well in contract years

I think my head is going to explode.

Damn. Can't buy one.
Big shot for Trevor though.
by MadMartygan on Nov 10, 2009 9:08 PM CST via mobile reply actions
our play has gone down the drain...
shots just not going in
This end of the quarter I'm liking about as much as the end to the last one
www.TheDreamShake.com Co-Founder and Writer
Dallas is a tough tough team
Hopefully our guys have the spunk to turn a bad game around. Not able to watch but following your game thread
Wow a just watched a bunch of NBA players operate the fail train
Under the goal.
Anybody notice how much weight Lowrys lost
He looks leaner
gotta make use of the bonus
keep attacking
"It's who we are," Battier said. "I don't think we're going to get the love of the six foot blonde bombshell. That's what the Lakers are here for. It's alright, I like our demographic."
we need get it together please..
get some stops..take quality shots.
Still not out of reach, but wow. Painful.
If the Red Nation apparatchiks start talking about a Five Year Plan, I'm out of here.
Well, that should teach us about taking the pressure off.
We had these guys and they’re going to end up blowing us out. Live and learn.

Damn, Terry is going to finish us off

he's been trying and succeeding in getting crowd hyped up all game.
been annoyed with all the camera time he’s been getting while doing it. I swear, I lost count of the times he’s been raising his arms up.
You’re annoyed? Imagine how the poor courtside seaters feel.

Um, they're his fans/his team's fans so...
probably not annoyed as me.
that blew out quick

I know you guys hate to admit it...
but the Mavs are pretty good. The score won’t be indicative of the game, though. Going to be an interesting season series [-ppp.
A guy said it on our board tonight...
your team isn’t a bunch of superstars it’s a bunch of glue guys. Glue guys that are playing spectacular. And you guys have Pops one of my fav (though is time was short) ex-Mavs.
who wouldn't admit it?
the’ve got at least 4 allstar caliber players. Come on!
Nm then, guess I got the wrong impression.
Can’t wait til the next one, wish us luck against the spurs tomorrow night.
we hate good players on opposing teams. we like your stinkers if they'll give us an easy time.
And tonight I did NOT like Dampier.
I want to punch a hole in my moniter
Cannot believe we let that slip away. This is when I wish we had T-Mac.
More like choked it away, if we’re honest.
by DribbleHooper on Nov 10, 2009 9:50 PM CST up reply actions
As far as I’m concerned, Ariza’s overpaid. He’s dragging down the team shooting percentage like gangbusters.
And Battier… ugh.
This is a learning year for Ariza, really
Trying to become a major option, he’s pressing a lot. Unused to it.
I support the Tornado Release ... and Young Bucks.
he's still a rookie
he’ll have some nights off , same as some of our players. or have you forgotten.
Oh, I haven’t forgotten. Problem is, this team can’t afford to have three players taking slightly over 30% of the team’s shots, and only making 20% of those shots. With this team, there is very little margin for error.
I just hope this loss doesn’t come back to haunt the Rockets toward the end of the season, if they happen to be just a game or two out of the playoffs.
by DribbleHooper on Nov 10, 2009 11:32 PM CST up reply actions
He only had 7 attempts..and not all of them were bad ones.
he wasn’t forcing it, they just didn’t go down. plus most of his attempts were open enough.
Wow... our defense... horrible
unfortunately T-Mac would help us with that either.
Then again, it’s Dallas. Their core group of players have ALWAYS given us fits. Dirk, Terry, and Howard.
by goingforthecorner on Nov 10, 2009 9:56 PM CST reply actions
i think we should use a 10 man rotation this time
by adding taylor and pops
we should have at east options if some guys having off night
since we dont have any go to guy in our roster
I know Dallas upgraded their talent
but do you get an idea form watching the game that teams are starting to learn how to play us?
That’s why we need to have other ways, other weapons to win aside from our uptempo style and ball movement. There isn’t just anyone YET skilled enough to take leadership and right the ship when nothing is working.
Oh well, all of this is tuition. We’re constantly learning. Not every game will look good. Go, Rockets!
We never do great in Dallas
Dallas is the other Utah. They just seem to almost always have our number at home.
Now on the road, it is a different story.
hence the need for tmac
and he seems to be due back soon
