Aaron Brooks has been a shining star through a rather dim Rockets offseason. Maybe he’s stepped up to the challenge, maybe it’s his increase in minutes, but Brooks is playing like an All-Star in the first few games of the season. … look at what he’s done. Got Chase Budinger for 2 mill in cash. Drafted Brooks late in the 1st round. Got Scola from the Spurs for a 2nd round pick. Got Landry in the 2nd round. Signed Ariza instead of bringing back old Nutsy (Ron-Ron). Traded Alston and got Lowry. Traded Gay for Battier.
Sure, he ain’t been 100% perfect but pretty damn close.
