Budinger

will he play?

It's 7:58 CST! What's going on here?

I support the Tornado Release ... and Young Bucks.

MC DONALDS JERSEYS

I’m loving it

"It's who we are," Battier said. "I don't think we're going to get the love of the six foot blonde bombshell. That's what the Lakers are here for. It's alright, I like our demographic."

by DREAM34 on Nov 6, 2009 8:06 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

26-21

Durant’s on fire! The rest of the team, not so much.
Uh, Budinger’s playing. He’s 2-for-3 with 2 FT’s … 6 points on 3 shots. God, he’s hyper-efficient.

I support the Tornado Release ... and Young Bucks.

We definitely beat LA with Budinger

he’s not playing like a rookie at all.

I keep hearing people saying Bud looks a little like Larry Bird.

How great would THAT be if he developed into the next Larry Bird?

I'd actually rather want him to be the first Chase Budinger...

we have got to stop putting these labels. They’ve ruined a lot of players. They need to be their own man.

by suzaku on Nov 6, 2009 8:39 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

that said...

they have got to be able to put a picture in his player profile in yahoo. its still empty.

Agreed.

But if Bud did develop into a great player like Bird, that would be so awesome…

But other than that, no.

and not to mention that games like these...

are played to develop ariza. He’s still a work-in-progress while ron is pretty much where he’ll be for the rest of his career, maybe even on the downhill.

lots of players in double-figures again.

ariza 11 points
scola 19 points
budinger 16 points
landry 12 points..
battier on the way with 9 points.

by suzaku on Nov 6, 2009 9:21 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

If we consistently beat the teams that we are supposed to beat,

I think we will be making the playoffs.

4 people in double digits, and Battier with 9, and Brooks with 7. By the time the game is over, there will be at least six people with double digits..

by Kari on Nov 6, 2009 9:21 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

Lowry has 4 fouls and Brooks twisted his ankle. Put in Conroy! Or Dorsey, I guess.

by Moondebah on Nov 6, 2009 9:21 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

really? so that's why he hasn't been playing. there were times my feed got cut-off.

and I thought it was because lowry was doing well with the assists.

Once would be enough, too I’m sure…

… shoveling it is a real pain in the ass.

NY State is a nice place to live except for the wintertime. Winter seems to last forever while summer seems to only last a couple of months.

There’s an old joke about NY State:
The summers lasts 2 months, the spring lasts 2 months, the fall lasts 2 months and the winter last SIX months.

Snow is “fun” for skiers, snowmobilers, and little kids. But for the rest of us, driving a car in it sucks big time. I’d rather live where it is warm.

Maybe someday after I retire…

I’m ok with Brooks’s game tonight. The announcers have made a big deal about his lack of scoring, but I don’t think he’s really been frustrated too much. He’s up against the one guy in the league that is both quicker and bigger than him, and he’s smartly not trying to force it. When your team is up by ~10 the whole game, it doesn’t bother me if you aren’t hitting your averages.

I think the problem with not having any stars

is that late in games, when we’re trying to milk the clock, we struggle to get good shots. Our offense is great if we have 24 seconds to move the ball around, but not so good with only 8 or 10.

by jack_ on Nov 6, 2009 9:48 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

we actuallt don't need a star if everyone shoots well...

the only need for a star is when the clock is ticking in those final seconds and we need a game winning or tying shot. We don’t know who’ll take the shot in those situations.

by suzaku on Nov 6, 2009 9:51 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

7 for 16 is fine. That’s 43%, which is decent.
