HOLYSHITOMG!!!!
T-Mac activated tonight. Adelman says he’ll play “short minutes” in first half this evening. http://myloc.me/27nYT

I know you're a T-Mac guy
So I wouldn’t be surprised if this is your actual reaction.
How many Biletnikoffs does he have? NOT TWO!
Excitement, mixed with apprehension
I’m happy that this is another point against the “Rockets don’t want McGrady back” crap floating around. At the same time, I think the Rockets probably had good reason to keep T-Mac out, so it’s odd that he’s suddenly going to play a little.
I’m really curious about how he’ll perform. I think we all (regardless of one’s feelings on McGrady) can hope he plays well.
You say that
But as, I think, ALad can point out, there are some weeeird people out there that have a personal vendetta against the man and would love to see him suffer even if it hurts the Rocket.

I think
Even those people want to see him do well so he looks better as trade bait, or some excuse like that.

My guess...
…is that he’s been working off the rust and learning the system. Unless I’m mistaken, that’s essentially what Adelman has been saying, just not in so many words.
Easing him into the flow of play sounds like an excellent way to give TMac the best chance of fitting in and performing well… but I may be a bit of a pollyana thinking this way.

It’s a good reason!!!! 35 minutes ago from TweetDeck
Glad to hear
that the players are looking forward to it, even if it means adding a new piece to the flow of the team.

If I weren't at work, I would've whooped and hollered. Srsly.
I’m trying not to get too psyched, but damn I’m looking forward to seeing what TMac can do.
Simultaneously, I’m bracing myself for a possible letdown. I can’t help it; it’s this team’s history, I’m sorry to say.
well
he won’t play much, and even if he plays poorly, it can be blamed on rust. So whatever the result, we’ve gotta take it with a grain of salt.

Oh, I know.
I just can’t help it. TMac’s 13-in-33 is what gave me the final shove into being a serious Rockets fan, as opposed to an “Oh, they’re in the playoffs?” fan.

WOOOOOOOO!!
Lets see how it goes, but Ariza’s elbow could be a blessing in disguise if Tracy can show something and get more PT.
