Carl had surgery today,
all four natural teeth fixed, his fake one replaced, and a newer, better mouthpiece will be constructed for him.
McGrady not able to finish around the basket so far
but he has made a few nice passes and run a couple of good plays.
You weren't
Or are you just used to the offensive powerhouse of the Chuckwagon? :P

Adelman said he wants him to shoot from the kick-out passes.
And also implying not the sprint & shoot 3s.
Ariza...
If the last shot counted, he’d have been well on pace for 40 tonight.
50
he’s done this sort of thing before, and he tends to cool off down the stretch. Still, he’s looking pretty great. Disciplined.
I really did mean 40...
I mean , he wouldn’t be able to get 25 again in the 2nd half but 15 more is pretty realistic.
I could see them doing substitution by committee, with McGrady, Taylor, and/or a few more minutes apiece spread out over the rest of the roster…

I see McGrady's gunner tendencies are coming back...
1-5, 1 DEF REB, 2 AST, 1 block and one of his shots blocked.
Only one was really a bad shot.
And I think two of them were end of clock chuckers. Thought it was his best game yet.

I was just remarking that he seems to be gaining confidence by the game.
Those shots will start going in as his confidence increases. :D

bill and clyde are complaining about some legit no-calls
but that was a bad “blocking” call, if you ask me
when your 9th player
can do what anderson is doing down the stretch, just prooves our depth

I hope these two wins against good talented teams put to rest the idea that the Rockets don’t have talent of their own. Obviously we do.
I think
it is unlikely that this narrative will be dispelled any time soon, primarily because I don’t think anybody making this assertion has a clear definition of what “talent” means. Maybe, as the season continues, people will begin to realize that these players are in themselves good/skilled/talented, and this idea will change. But it won’t be for a while.
Well, when good scouting/recruitment of right players
meets a coaching staff with the philosophy that can put the players in a position to do well, success ensues.
I doubt if the traditional idea of SuperStars + Supporting Cast = Success will ever fade in the NBA. But, if the Houston Rockets marketing hits the right idea, they can, perhaps create a unique basketball identity similar to the Packers in NFL.
I love this team…
