A Helpful Tool to Dissect a Game
Folks, you've seen me reference HoopData.com quite a bit here - it's only because I think it's the best statistics website out there. Anyway, Hoop Data has added a "Box Scores" section to their website, with individual player analysis from things such as shot locations to advanced statistics. I'd recommend using it after a game; they're up around 1 am the night of the contest.
I've linked to the box score for tonight's game. A few things that stand out:
1. Trevor Ariza was 1-5 from shots at the rim.
2. Tracy McGrady's usage rate was nearly double everyone else's. This, despite what you may think, is a good thing... for now.
3. We took less shots from 10-23 feet than the Clippers. I would reference this every game if I were you - shot locations are a big deal when discussing how the Rockets are going to score.

We’re going to work on getting the games up sooner than 1am, namely as each games finishes (or within 30 minutes of).
Sounds good, Joe. Thanks for all the hard work you guys do.
