Around SBN: MLB Trade Deadline: Astros' fans react to Oswalt trade

Quick Note for Everyone

I've been strolling through other SBN sites, and something that I've noticed is how often members of various communities use the "rec" button.

Using the rec button lets Dave, Lee, OAL, Xiane, or myself that you've liked something that we have written.  Before you consider me to be selfish for offering such a request, take a look at Fanposts, or Fanshots, or even comments; you can "rec" those as well.  If someone in our community writes something that you enjoy, rec it, and if there are enough, the FanPost will be moved to the front page.  If you rec a comment a certain number of times (three, I believe), then the comment turns green and draws more attention.  This is not only for our benefit, but for yours as well.  We'd like to showcase as much of your work as possible.

In case you are unaware, the "rec" button is at the bottom of every story, FanPost, FanShot, or comment.  On comments, it is under the "action" button.

Enjoy!

No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Do not cut/paste entire sections of content from other websites. Thanks.
