According to the Chronicle T-Mac will be sitting out the next two games and his situation will be re-evaluated when the team arrives back in Houston next week. This seems a weird move to me as he seemed to be getting his legs back under him with only limited minutes. I myself am a Tmac fan, but I do wonder how he and his volume shooting will fit into the new up paced team ball the rockets are now playing.
In the Chron article Morey says, "Tracy didn't feel like this is working in terms of working him back in. We want to develop the best next step. We'll figure out what's next when we get back to Houston." Is there more going on behind the scenes here then we are aware of? Could this mean new trade avenues have opened up? Or is the team truly going to re-evaluate his role, hopefully increasing his minutes to 20-25 per game?
What are yalls thoughts?
