With the looming trade, how can we improve this team

Now that the Rockets are offically shopping McGrady, how can they realistically improve this rockets team without destroying what is already in place. All the players on this team were brought here to compliment Yao and McGrady and they have been doing a really good job this year with out them. Next year Yao should return, so when they do trade McGrady what you would be looking for in return? I want to see some front court help as well as some expiring contracts to help us resign some of the younger guys we have on the team. I don't want to know what kind of crazy trade you can pull off to (insert star player here). I want to know what you think we should be trying to get out of this divorce.

the rockets are doing a terrible job at building this team. the reason why is because they are making too many changes too quick and none of them are making any success. shopping mcgrady is not going to solve any problems RITE NOW. the only way they cam improve this team is too bring someone who can contribute just as much as Yao. the rockets desperatley need a low post scoring big man that can bring in 18-24 EACH NITE and someone who can also crash the boards. they need someone who can compliment the overcrowded roster of running guards and fowards. rite now the rockets look like lost chicken heads who keep cluckin for corn kernels whenever they try to figure out how come they have a 18-13 record. if its one person they should trade it should be scola along with brian cook. scola is completely overrated and brian cook literally cooks the bench cuz he keeps that bench really hot. they should try trading them for any offensive center like elton brand or chris kaman. this would also help yao when he gets back and it also woould put so much pressure on the front court. but all in all, mcgrady should stay but if they are going to trade him i think they should get an offensive big man. thanks. bye.

Thanks for coming to our site and having an opinion no one else has haha

Yeah….thats why they are doing much better than anyone expected right?? Thats why we are 18-13 while playing with 50% of our payroll. Thats why we are 18-13 while playing without the highest payed player in the league. C’MON MAN!! Youre just jealous that we are successful with only a “supporting cast.” You just wish your supporting cast was as good as ours because then you wouldnt have to worry about Bron leaving Cleveland. Also, we have that scoring big man who can bring in 18-24 a night, his name is Luis Landry.

Now on to your trade ideas: Elton Brand, old and washed up. Chris Kaman, i could go with that but what do we do when Yao comes back next year? I believe that whatever trade we make will be for next season and not this season. I know Morey is smart enough to know that whatever trade we make will not make us good enough to beat LA, Bos, Cle, Den, or Orl in a 7 game series. If we make a trade this season, it will be for a backup center and a shooting guard because we currently have no real shooting guard besides Budinger.

Backup center

I think if David Andersen could learn to get more rebounds, he would make a great finesse center. Being around guys like Landry, Scola, Hayes might help turn him into banger-finesse player like Olajuwon.

He would make a good back up for Yao. So what we would really need is another shooting guard, that can also play point. (incase we ever have to go big) I cant think of any really. Maybe from the D-league or a draft pick…

Good sir,

You said this:

scola is completely overrated

Now, give me one reason I shouldn’t insta-ban you for trolling…

we have one, his name is CARL LANDRY!!!

give him more minutes and he will easily surpass the 20 pt. mark.
