On another note,

Brooks seems to understand something that Rafer didn’t:

(on taking the big shots late in the game): I still want to get the ball the Yao; that’s definitely our first priority late in the game. It’s just the shot clock was winding down, Yao came over for a screen and I took the shot.

Magic on the way to blowing out the Heat

they will probably have 115+ points at the end of this. So much for Rafer’s shooting killing the team.

Yeah, you're right!

I’m glad we make decisions based on two games now. That’s the foundation of good player evaluation.

The argument was never that Alston destroys every game he comes into. It’s that he doesn’t fucking realize it when his jump shot isn’t falling, and he continues to take jumpers when he should not.

And, as long as we’re forming our opinions based upon two games against crappy opponents, why can’t you see that Lowry and Brooks are running the offense better than Alston ever did? They’re getting into the lane and distributing the ball. Alston was a solid player, but Lowry and Brooks are clear improvements over him. The coaching staff believes that, the front office believes that, and there’s very little reason to believe otherwise.

Huh?

It’s one game, and again, no one has said this was a bad trade for the Magic. We’re just saying it’s not a bad trade for the Rockets. Everyone knows that Rafer can play well, we also know he typically does not

Raymond Felton and DJ Augustin

sure played the point pretty well for the Bobcats yesterday! Definitely not as good as AB and Lowry! They had more turnovers than assists, so I guess your point that Felton/DJ > AB/Lowry isn’t true…that is if we were going to judge things based on one game.

I'm really

Glad that Rafer’s playing well, I do wish him the best in his career with the magic.

But he still sucks.
