Carl Landry: "I could have been dead"
Carl Landry appeared at the Rockets practice today.
A few more details of the incident were given... such as the shooter being maybe 30 feet away when the bullets rang out. Scary stuff.
I am just happy that Carl Landry is (mostly) okay and that he's alive. His agent suggested he might need counseling after the event. Here's hoping a return to the basketball court is the best way to get his mind off the trauma of being shot.
Rest up and get well, Carl.

Wow,much worse than than the first stories portrayed.
Poor Carl, I’m glad he’s alive, but that’s terrible. I hope both his physical and mental wounds heal equally well.
I have a friend who was attacked at random by a mentally ill guy with a kitchen knife. The wounds healed in a few weeks, but the psychological damage took much much longer.
good to have teammates
That’s why it’s so awesome and important that he was at the practice today…
being around his teammates is going to help him recover in both ways.
Wow, that sounds bad. I’m glad he’s okay… but I recommend you not to read the comments in the newspaper’s article if you want to stay sane.
