No, no, no - Yao can't be seriously injured again. I will not allow it.
I refuse to accept even the concept that Yao Ming could possibly be injured.
No more of this:
Besides, isn't today a day where people have a history of overcoming any injury? Even that pesky thing known as "death"?
I have no doubt Yao Ming will be ready to kick @$$ in the playoffs once they start next weekend. He's going to be just fine. Or else I am going to need a serious sit-down talk with a higher power.

I hope Yao's ok!
I know the last two games are important but I don’t know, is anyone with me on this, i think that Houston fans have been through too many hard times these past few years, maybe its best to rest Yao for the next two games just in case, I mean even if I am the 5th seed after it, at least I have a better shot at having a healthy Yao, the best center in the NBA right now, who could dominate against any team that comes in at 4th, just an opinion… plus its always fun when Deke gets a double double haha

rest away
I think we can beat New Orleans and Dallas in the next two games with or without Yao. It’s the grind of a 7 game playoff series where we need him most!

Both articles in the Chronicle seem highly speculative
My best guess: Given his injury history and sheer size, the Rockets were being uber cautious and held him out a game to examine the foot and make sure there were no real problems. I expect he’ll play the last two games and be fine for the playoffs.

and (please, please, please) give some Von Wafer some playing time..

Yao is OK
After undergoing an MRI and bone scan Saturday, Yao Ming was diagnosed with nothing more than a bone bruise and the Rockets expect their All-Star center to return to action in time for Monday’s pivotal match-up with New Orleans.

thank goodness
but honestly I’d be happy with him sitting out the part or all of the rest of the way to have him fresh for the playoffs

I can't do it though
easter bunny? I guess this is where we make an egg/humpty dumpy joke… nah, only a Utah fan would do that

Speaking about jokes and Utah...
why hasn’t there been a lead story about the loss to the Warriors? Needs to be immortalized.

the box score made my day
but i wouldnt ever want dwill injured (or anyone for that matter). first of all, thats a utah fan thing to do. secondly, id rather beat teams at full strength so there aren’t any excuses (even though utah fans will find a way to blame the refs no matter how many fouls and flops they actually commit.

I hope this blog never becomes mature enough not to gloat over a Jazz loss!
Particularly when they lose to a 7-man warrior team!!

a 7 man warrior squad
on a b2b, too.

and, speaking of maturity,
be sure to take a look at the GSM recap for some good, old-fashioned whining from our friends in Jazz land.

Few things in my life
generate the type of hate that I have more than the Jazz and Jazz fans. I can just picture him reading those comments, saying “OH YEAH??”, creating an ID out of spite and clicking refresh after every comment, with those orange stained Cheeto fingers and and life size blowup doll of John Stockton (which by the way pops from every renegade breeze, life like AND flop-tastic!). Ugh…so much hate.

hahaha
I was drunk when I saw the Utah/GS score. I didn’t believe it at first. I still don’t believe it now. How does Utah lose to GS? At home? hahahahahaa.

Even better than the loss is watching the Jazz message boards speculate about the “locker room strife” that’s apparently going on behind the scenes. Can you imagine that sort of thing happening with the Rockets or Blazers?

Never
With guys like Roy and Battier, it just wouldn’t happen.

in fact
that’s pretty much all ClutchFans talked about (and pretty much all we argued about) for about two months.

Ugh, good point. I must have blocked that period out of my mind.
