A Little Rockets/Blazers Wager?
This is just an idea, but why doesn't The Dream Shake and Blazers Edge put a little friendly bet up on who wins the series. I'm sure a lot of us fans could help in the ideas. The Blazer fans seem so confident about them winning the series and all. I am a Rockets fan so of course I know that we'll win. Lee, Dave, Tom??? Lets shut these Blazer fans up. Ideas?
Lets see....who should we go after??

you really want the karma
of making fun of an injured Greg Oden when you have Yao Ming on your team. It seems like a Rockets fan would have empathy for an injured center, but I guess not.
Life is exhausting when you are this stupid.

worst moments as a blazer fan
not centers getting hurt (walton, bowie, oden) but
game 6, 91 wcf, cliff the lift dribbles off his leg
game 7, 2000 wcf, 0-13 in the last 10 minutes of the 4th quarter
fucking l*kers

Cliff didn't dribble off his leg
He bumbled the Kersey pass out of bounds with his butterfingers. Believe me, that memory is still vivid in my mind.
Kersey should’ve just raised up and packed it mercilessly over whatever L*ker chump was trying in vain to stop him.
sigh
Also, you forgot game six of the ’92 finals, where we also had a 15 point lead against the Bulls in Chicago and the bench brought them back in the first four minutes of the 4th quarter… with MJ on the bench. Admittedly, that was against the greatest player to ever lace ’em up, as opposed to our sworn mortal enemies… makes it slightly easier to digest.

Oh and another thing
The worst part of that ‘91 WCF game was not Cliffy’s turnover, it was watching Magic toss the ball down court after Porter’s miss. The ball slowly rolling out of bounds as the clock wound down, only to stop at 0.1 seconds, thus prolonging the agony and having to endure Buck Williams’ desperate full court heave which was tipped away harmlessly. That was the worst 0.1 seconds of my life, and I was 8 when that happened.
Talk about traumatic.

Why do blazers fans love pictures
is it because yall like picture books and have trouble comprehending large amounts of text at a time??

why cant Houston fans use the reply button instead of starting a new comment line?
You dare question the fan base that wins the internets?

Three pictures are easier to post
than three thousand words. That’s a lot of writing.

the reply button
for replying to a specific post, like how i am replying to jonestr’s post. a new comment line is for commenting on the post as a whole. I would figure a member of the “fan base that wins the internets” (great spelling on internet by the way) would understand what reply meant and how to use a blog. But i guess i was wrong. Also i think the reason yall consider yourselves the best blog is cause theres nothing else to do in portland besides sit on your computers and make internet love to your blazers

you were commenting about
pictures posted by BE readers, how were the people who posted the pictures supposed to know you were talking about their post with out using the reply button? Was the original post about pictures from BE readers? No, so you should have responded to their post to keep the dialogue going.
And trying to make fun of someone for posting on the internet, by posting on the internet, is a bit of pot calling the kettle black.

Because i wasnt going to go each picture posted by a blazer fan
and bitch about it. maybe yall do that up in the northwest but i decided to make one post that a good amount of blazer fans would see. And sorry i dont know blog etiquitte, i didnt go to a class about it but i guess you did. Also, i wasnt making fun of one person for posting on the internet, i was making fun of the enthusiasm that blazer fans seem to have for their blog, its like its the coolest thing they have ever seen, but i guess when you have one pro sports team and not a great college sports scene, youve got to be able to hang your hat on something.

There was
exactly one post with 3 pictures in this entry, not multiple post with multiple pictures you would need to respond to.
I dont really know where you are going with the rest of your post , but maybe we could get back to hearing about how the Rockets are going to throttle the Blazers and less about your generalizations of what you think is going on in a part of the world that neither of us live in.

my post about the pictures
was not only stemming from this entry, and i wasnt trying to be mean about it or anything. and i dont know where you got the throttle idea from cause i dont think many rockets fans think we are going to “throttle” the blazers. but i do think a lot of blazers fans think they are going to “throttle” the rockets, which is ludacris based on the evenness of the teams

But I think that you thinking that that a lot of blazer fans think they are going to "throttle" the rockets is pretty thoughtless
Blazers fans tend to respect the Rockets and they don’t take them at all for granted.
And he’s right. There was only one post with pictures. Plus you don’t use the reply in almost every thread (what all of 3 of them!) I’ve seen you post in. That’s ok. Nothing wrong with it. Don’t have to get defensive about it. Own it.

I don’t love pictures, I just thought they were necessary for this fanpost seeing as it uses plenty of pictures itself.

Why make this arguement when a houston fan posted pictures first.
