Battier was in the Hospital before Game 1

Shane Battier apparently contracted either food poisoning or a stomach virus before game 1 and went to a Portland hospital before game 1. Battier said he felt weak throughout the game. "It was terrible. I didn’t feel good yesterday. I was still sluggish. The adrenaline got me through the game." That probably explains his poor showing in game 1, when he shot 1-5. Battier still had the highest +/- for the Rockets. Good luck to Portland in game 2.

MUTOMBO

We need more mutombo like we need more cowbell!!!! I have a fever, and the only rx is more mutombo. These are probably his last games. I think he can dominate portland just as much as yao can. MUTOMBO FOR PRESIDENT!!! MUTOMBO FOR LIFE!!!

sadly

I think he’s already said he’ll retire after this season is over. But the legend of Dikembe Mutombo will live on forever.

Back-up Center

With Deke retiring after the season, the Rocks need to use that 2nd round pick to select a decent back-up for Yao to be able to rest.
I nkow that most of you won’t like this, but I do not see that Rocks trading T-Mac next season, so no need to use that pick on a SG, plus we have Wafer…

backup center is the biggest need on this current team

and i dont think the rockets will trade mcgrady, but they might not have an opportunity to. Its his contract year so he needs to play but people wont trade for him til he can play, which may be a while. But they might sign a sg if they dont resign artest. All i know is IN MOREY WE TRUST
