Unfortunately I was studying for law finals (damn you Civil Procedure) and my EFFING TIVO MESSED UP so I wasn't able to watch anything but the 1st quarter (which was enough to make me comment on how much of a homer the Blazer announcing staff was, I miss MY homer, Bill Worrell) but from what I've heard Roy went off, Deke went down (You're an all-time great Deke, and you were awesome when I waited on you) and the Refs were dictating the pace for both teams.
On that note, I am COMPLETELY stoked about the way these two games shook out.
Game one, we completely demolished them in their house, so we know we can beat them in the RG.
Game two, Ron ron took some (SOME) ill-advised shots, he kept us in the game singlehandedly in the first quarter, Yao only got 6 (SIX!?!?) shots, was fronted and flopped against all game, and we missed ten free throws from a whistle happy ref group, and we only lost by four. We'll make adjustments, like the Blazers did, and take the next two games at home.
No one thought thise was going to be a sweep, and anyone who said that after the 30 point blow out was just spewing hyperbole. I see home court being protected in each subsequent game. My original prediction still stands. Rockets in six.
