Ron Artest is a comedic genius
"I've been in the stands before..."
brilliant.
Artest may not have to buy his own beer in Houston ever again.

Gotta love the humor
I bet he was working on that line from when that happened until the post game interview
Eddie Johnson at the buzzer.....
Awesome
I’d like to see the whole clip.
It takes a big man to walk away, but a bigger man to break his freaking jaw!
I've been looking for it
This was all I could find.
I watched the whole interview after the game last night… it was hilarious the whole way through.
No more posts fron BE!
I’m just glad i heard the alst from those guys at BE. Now, let’s take it to the lakers. I would love nothing more than to watch kobe sit on the bench with his head hung low as the rockets take that series as well. GO ROCKETS
careful what you wish for
It’s a near certainty that Lee, Tom and I will have to delete posts and ban people over the next 10 days. Lakers fans are rabid and usualy not anywhere near as polite as Blazer fans.
Way to start things off on the high road, Dave.
How about “we look forward to discussions with the Laker fans and we hope they are as polite as Blazer fans”. Doesn’t that sound better.
"Don't I know you from somewhere"?. "Nah, that ain't me, I'm from Buffalo" - Axel Foley
Well I don't remember what happened in December, but.........
I don’t think I have ever been banned from anything so I would say probably not. Maybe another Laker fan. We all look alike you know. Do you think I should be banned for THAT comment??? If so you guys might be a tad trigger happy.
"Don't I know you from somewhere"?. "Nah, that ain't me, I'm from Buffalo" - Axel Foley
no, no
after the liqour from last night has worn off, I do remember you. And I went back and checked (yeah, I realize how lame that is). You got all bent out of shape after Dave made some comments about the Rockets’ schedule. Amongst other exploits. Yeah, you’re pretty much a dick.
Stop complaining about comments made on a rockets blog.
Well I am glad you guys are going to be polite....
Dick? That’s a little harsh don’t you think?? Well obviously not. Maybe you’re nicer with the liquor.

Apparently you didn't read all of that thread, because if you did.........
you would have seen that we made nice at the end. And I still think all of my points were valid (as would Dave I would imagine). Maybe calling him an A-hole over the top, but he wasn’t exactly playing nice either. Anyway that was November (close call on the December guess), so who cares? By the way at the end of that thread I think Dave and I had an interesting exchange considering the situation we are now in.
“I’m too old for Kobe now.
and I remain convinced that if the Rockets didn’t fuck up their rotations and actually, you know, passed the ball – the Rockets would have made the game a hell of a lot more competitive – and might have actually won. But that’s why I love basketball… we play the Lakers two more times and maybe in a 7 game series in May as well. We shall see what happens next”. – Grungedave
“You mean 4 game series in May don’t you??? Oops, that wasn’t very nice of me, sorry”. – pslakerfan-
"Don't I know you from somewhere"?. "Nah, that ain't me, I'm from Buffalo" - Axel Foley
I find it interesting that everyone here keeps saying "Blazer fans were really nice, I hope the Laker fans will be the same"...
then as soon as a Laker fan gets here, everyone of you start out with “dick”, “troll” “go away” etc. Why not try to be a little nicer and let us act like “trolls” before you start labeling. Just a suggestion.
"Don't I know you from somewhere"?. "Nah, that ain't me, I'm from Buffalo" - Axel Foley
Hey man, I know everyone made nice last time and I think you've been very respectful this time
So we can drop anything from before.
That said, we have about 40 registered users that are Lakers fans. 4-5 (including you) aren’t completely a-hole trolls. So, in most of the guys’ experience here and on Clutchfans is that Lakers fans on our sites are trolls. That said, I’ll have a post up later about welcoming fans from the Lakers until the prove otherwise.
But seriously, you know why that’s the jump to conclusions mat idea about Lakers fans.

I know there are a lot of Laker trolls, I'm just saying it's probably better to let us
“troll” first before getting slapped.
"Don't I know you from somewhere"?. "Nah, that ain't me, I'm from Buffalo" - Axel Foley
He's actually remarkably funny
Obviously the line about being in the stands before was good, but the line about someone offering him a beer and having to turn it down because of the cameras was great too. He’s got good comedic timing as well.
So if this whole basketball thing doesn’t work out, he’s got that career in standup to fall back on.
When I'm on the mic, I'm like global warming, you can't ignore me.

Things like this
are what makes me love Ron Artest. The man is straight crazy in the most hilarious way possible. Glad he’s not on my team though, I’d probably have gotten a stroke by now from his awful shot selection. I still flinch whenever Odom attempts a three, even the in rhythm ones that he makes decently.
I can't help but like Ron a little for that...
“I’ve been in the stands before…”
priceless
