Here is a recap of the current casting for 2009 Rockets: The Motion Picture. Please use your media insights to help fill up the casting couch and figure out who should play who on the Rockets squad when it comes time to cast our hometown heroes. Les is already in talks with the studios and agents regarding the script:

Ron-Ron - If cast as Ron-Ron, Akon has offered to be billed as Akon-Akon:

Perhaps Tyson Beckford?.. Same pipes and haircut.

Battier - Who would be more dazzling as The Battman than Coby Bell from "The Game"?:

Adelman - In another post on this site someone wrote: "I'm thinking that Gene Hackman would make a fine Sleepy. His cynicism coupled with that little goatee would be screen magic."

Wow!... I don't think I could tell these two dudes apart if I met them:

Scola - The best Luis would be that guy from Forgetting Sara Marshall that a couple of Dream Shakers have pointed out and posted this picture:

Aaron Brooks - ABZ all the way baby! - Its a toss up between 50 cent and Chris Rock on who would drop more f-bombs:

Von Wafer: The Night Train now has both fame and game, so how would y'all buy this?... The Von Train - Starring Lil Wayne.... Both playa play the same kinda game, untamed with no shame...

Yao: Has Michelle Wie been contacted about auditioning?

The Men’s PGA Tour hasn’t worked out too well for Michelle yet so why not the NBA?

Dikembe - Don Cheadle's agent is insisting that he is very interested in playing Deke, and is planning to wear 12-inch platform lace-ups for the shooting:

T-Mac: This is a tough one.. Shavar Ross from Diff'rent Strokes and Family Matters has expressed interest..

Might even make it through the film's full shooting schedule
