No Tech for Kobe? No mention anywhere?

How can Kobe's actions be ignored by the league?! Bryant took a cheap shot at Shane last night, while shane was pinned on the floor with his back turned! An intentional elbow to the back of the head of one of our key players defensively in this series and no call?!

So, if Howard elbows someone it equals a suspension, but if Kobe does it, "Oh he's just come out flat and he's trying to get fired up. Jordan did that all the time...." WHAT?! BS! If you elbow someone in the head with malicious intent, you should be suspended, period.

I understand Kobe's frustration, but that was cheap and low. He had Shane pinned, Battier did nothing wrong (other than defend well, maybe that's wrong in Kobe's mind), and the zebras couldn't have missed it... Not even a tech! I call BS and shinanigans... More corruption from the SBA (Stern Basketball Autocracy)... Kobe can't blame this on his sore throat... He should sit for a game.

This is basketball, not MMA... Kobe, you just joined John Stockton and Bruce Bowen in the Dirty Players Hall of Fame. The shame of it is that you don't need to take out Shane... You're good enough to beat him without giving him a concussion.

No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Do not cut/paste entire sections of content from other websites. Thanks.

I did notice this

I think the Rockets should protest that to the league office.

Kobe's elbow was BS, I agree

But I thought what should be taken away was how cooly Battier shook it off. It was in Kobe’s head the rest of the way

We agree on two things then

1. Shane is CLASSY! ;)
2. Kobe is NOT…

but what about #3?

3. Kobe should sit for a game…

If Ron had done this, he would be out for more than 1 game…

Def.

agree the league is bias towards the Lakers…..but we cant complain to much for the whole game the refs called a fair game, there will always be iffty calls. But yes this play should be looked at.

How funny that Shane has two people take shots at him two at Yao Lamar Odom gave him an elbow to the ribs and the Kobe drive…..on purpose or not thats a lot of “rough” plays

But tip your hat to the Rockets for not falling in the 4th….we played a much more complete game

Great players dont win championships.....Great TEAMS win chapionships

Well, I'm not going to bend over and take it without complaint...

Teaching through parables (an example)….

So you’ve been framed for something, and the evidence is stack against you. Do you: A) concede because you know you are going to lose or B) fight back because you know you are innocent…

B!

I agree that we’ll likely see some “super-star” treatment of Bryant, but I don’t accept that and will speak out against it, despite how futile it might be…

The Rockets got the benefit

of alot of calls late game, so complaining about one incident is kinda crazy. That being said, you are absolutely correct that if ron artest did that he would be suspended for atleast one game. That’s the treatment you get when you were involved in the biggest brawl in NBA history

huh? No they didn't

That was a very evenly called game.

Crazy?

Yeah, you’re right and Howard shouldn’t have been suspended for that one call either…. Really?

Hey Fiegen, who're the whiners again?

Not that you’re wrong or anything.

The definition of a P**SY, hit a nice guy that is respectful and all class. Lets see him try that shit with Artest. What a PUNK!

And as if he wanted to help me prove he IS a spoiled brat, Kobe continuously taunted one of the classiest players in the league and topped it off with a big “f*** you” to his permissive Daddy (Stern) by Elbowing Artest in the throat! Suspend this asshole before he hurts someone! Fisher shouldn’t be suspended. Artest shouldn’t either. The SBA needs to man up and do the RIGHT thing… What i fear is that Alston will sit out a game for not being a star and Kobe’s pure arrogance will be fed by inaction by the head pu$$y in charge! Man up stern! LA doesn’t stand for “leave alone.” Kobe obviously calls Stern everynight and chirps confidently into the receiver, “you can’t spank me.”
