Dear Los Angeles Lakers,

Your faux-intensity is not fooling us. Cheapshots and mean muggs do not make you tough. You think that by decking one of our players you are sending a message of toughness. In reality, it is a message of desperation. We are not Utah. Nothing will come easy. You will have to work for everything. We are not here to lay down on your way to the finals. We are here to win this series. If your not careful, we just might. And if we don't, we'll at least make it so tough that the entire lakers nation is gonna have to change their collective pants by the end of this series. So bring it on lakers. We're not backing down.

P.S.- k0be, I don't care how much you talk, strut, and mugg, your not getting to Battier. If you have to make it a point to talk and strut everytime you make a shot then that shows me he's gotten to you. so keep shooting. I'm willing to bet that you'll have 3 more games like Game 1 rather than Game 2.

No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Do not cut/paste entire sections of content from other websites. Thanks.

I couldn't agree more with the Battier part of this (and the whole thing for that matter)

It seems like Kobe thinks that Battier wrote that article in NY Times about him or something.

Not to mention it seems to eat Kobe up that it doesn’t bother Shane when he tries to taunt him or knees and kicks him on the floor.

It's funny, the other day I tried to get some ammo for a post I was working on

about Kobe cheating. I was thinking how the league favors him with fouls and all that. So I went to google and typed in Kobe cheats and came back with (I don’t remember how many hits) of Kobe cheating with a Laker girl. I guess it’s pretty common knowledge (I didn’t know that).

Anyhow, there were so many articles about this that I couldn’t get my stats and make the post. Oh well. Kobe’s just a real character guy.

Beautifully written

I agree entirely about Battier not going down to Kobes level. Taunting will not break Shane..and hell be lucky to have another game like that in Houston…Toyota Center will be so hyped..Kobe will be lucky to get one shot off without getting booed everytime..ha…GO ROCKETS!
