NBA Finals Game 3: My worst nightmare

Not only does Kobe Bryant fall apart in the fourth quarter... turning the ball over... even missing free throws...

but Rafer Alston decides to simultaneously have a breakout game.
Probably just to spite me.
(It's okay though. You still suck, Rafer.)

Though, really, how does Kobe miss five free throws? Five?!?!

Meanwhile, the Lakers fail to play defense, fail to rebound, fail to make free throws... and fail to put the series away. I guess the good news is I get to watch at least one more NBA game this year. One more opportunity to watch Rafer fail on the grandest stage of all.

I just want the underdog to win

Kobe and the Lakers play as if they are entitled to the crown. Orlando won Game 3 in spite of committing a number of errors down the stretch. Kobe fizzled after starting out hot. Remember Orlando could have won Game 2 if Lee converted his alley-oop so it’s not as if Orlando cannot play L.A. orlando has adjusted its offense by not relying on the 3-point shot so much. The shooters take a lot of long 2-pointers. Howard’s offensive limitations are now being exploited by L.A. but at least he’s steady on defense and rebounding.

I think Orlando should play Batiste or Gortat more alongside Howard to match up with Gasol /Bynum/Odom. Turkoglu and Lewis should alternate until the last quarter. Orlando is finding it difficult to defend L.A.‘s big men. That’s why they cannot keep their leads.
