#10 on all-time NBA Franchise Rankings..

ESPN's John Hollinger put together a very detailed list of the top 30 Franchises in the NBA and the Rockets just so happened to rank # 10 on this column....heres some nice statistics for you if you dont feel like putting the finger strength into clicking on the link....

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2009/columns/story?columnist=hollinger_john&page=FranchiseRankings-Rockets

Houston Rockets

Wins : 1,737                                   All-Stars : 51

Playoff Wins : 116                         Best Player : Hakeem Olajwon (No Question)

Series Wins : 24                           Best Coach : Rudy Tomjanovich

Titles : 2                                          Best Team : 1993-1994 (58-24, won NBA Title)

Not as good as your Lakers or Celtics lists but still pretty good compared to others...The Lakers, of course, ranked #1 on this list and those statistics were pretty damn impressive (125 All Stars 393 Playoff wins..ouch)....

Any comments???

No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Do not cut/paste entire sections of content from other websites. Thanks.

i’m a laker fan, but i saw this on the sb nation homepage …

obviously, hollinger is a very mathematical analyst, so i can see how the rockets got #10, but i think it should have been higher.

actually, the rockets are 50.64 points/season while the #9 pacers are 50.66 … I would have given y’all a couple of “intangible points” to put you over the top, haha.

Alright, everyone.

Before you post something, do a cursory search of the other posts. We’ve got another link to this in the fanshot section, and there really only needs to be one.

HOW THE HELL IS UTAH #7???

With only 40 all-stars and no titles?

I don’t think he (hollinger) puts enough emphasis on those….

FUCK UTAH!
