McGrady's Suitors?
Word on the street is that we are trying to dump McGrady A.S.A.P. What I want to know is who are the possible teams that are willing to take him. On Hoopshype, I have read that the Bulls are possibly interested in taking him. I don't really think Morey would want Kirk Hinrich for 4 years at 10 million per year. So the only trade that works is Brad Miller, Tim Thomas and filler. I don't see that really helping the Rockets. I have also heard the Knicks may be interested. They give us more options. I am interested in what everyone is hearing.
No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Do not cut/paste entire sections of content from other websites. Thanks.

"word on the street"
is a schizophrenic mess of bullshit. I have heard everything from “The Rockets are merely listening to offers” to “the Rockets are quietly shopping McGrady’s contract” to “the Rockets are trying to get rid of the contract.” Remember when Morey was supposedly shopping Artest?
Look, this is the way the “NBA Rumor Mill” works:
1) A GM calls Morey / Morey calls another GM
2) One of them mentions McGrady as a possibility
3) That GM frantically calls his city’s version of Richard Justice, talking about how shit’s going down immediately.
4) NOTHING FREAKING HAPPENS.
Your friendly neighborhood Dreamshake mod.
Yes
this is the general annoying process, but the question is who you think would be willing to trade for McGrady?

What about a sign and trade?
You know, what if Chicago signs Ben Gordon to a 10-12 million per contract for 4 years and then sends him plus Brad Miller and a filler for T-Mac and a filler. Houston gets some instant offense who can either start or come off the bench and a backup center for Yao who can run Rick Adelman’s offense to a “T.” Meanwhile, Derrick Rose gets an athletic wing to join him on offense and pair up with Luol Deng, John Salmons, Tyrus Thomas and Joakim Noah. Salmons can start at the “2” until T-Mac is ready to play again and then slide into a 6th man role.
Of course this is all speculation, so it probably won’t happen.
