Trade Yao for Mehmet

The Rockets are a good team, but the only way they will get to the next level is if they make Scola the focal point of the offense.  This trade would allow Scola to roam the paint and if they double he can kick it out to Mehmet who is absolutely cash from downtown.  I still haven´t seen a guy who can guard Scola straight up.  He will definitely be a Top 10 player all time by the time his career in the NBA ends.  Long Live Luis!!!!!

Yes, but I believe Okur and Scola should share being the focal point

easy:

Listen, dude. This is probably the single stupidest thing I’ve read on this site. There is no way to be polite about this. What I need you to do is to stop posting immediately. Then you need to reexamine your life and everything that has brought you to this point.

Once you realize the error of your ways, you can start posting again. But until you understand why trading Okur for Yao is a terrible idea, you’re not ready.

he must be testing out the competency level on the dream shake

it’s the only reason why he sounds so serious!

contributing nothing substantial to your blog, since 2008!

I don't know about that

He’s posting similar threads at virtually every other site. He’s just really in love with Luis Scola:

“Duncan for Scola”
“Roy for Scola”
“Carmelo for Scola”
“Garnett for Scola”
“Scola for Lee and 2009 draft pick” (actually, this is semi-reasonable. Semi)
“Durant for Scola”

Epic.

and the Melo thread has probably the single best poll option of any of them:

#3 I don“t think the Rockets will want this trade, but I would be willing to throw Kenyon or Nene to make it work

Boston fans apparently have a pretty good sense of humor, since they’re all voting for the “Trade Pierce and Ray Allen for Scola, instead” option.

I love Scola... and yet

The mere thought of this is enough to make me want to ban you from polluting our other readers’ brains with stupidity. Kinda like Billy Madison’s speech on the industrial revolution.

LOL, after Kobe entering the top 10 of all time Scola is next in line? Really?

Scola and Okur, now there must be some way to get Nowitzki and Bargnani and then bomb away with big international players from downtown.

haha

read the posts on the knicks site " I heard there redoing the NBA 50 greatest to be luis scola and 49 luis scola clones"

No no no no NO!

Scola’s more of a second option type guy I think in the NBA. Keep Yao Ming. Mehmet Okur is only good because he stretches out the D. Yet, you put said Scola on him, he’s neutralized.

great plan

Scola and Mehmet would be the best 1-2 combo in the league next year. We would have Scola scoring 20 a game down low and Okur draining 3’s all day long. And after he would hit a 3, he would put his 3-point goggles on!! This would help the rockets become a top notch team! Yao is good but he does not have the game that Mehmet does.

um wrong

The greatest winner of the past decade is Robert Horry.

by grungedave on Jun 22, 2009 7:43 AM CDT up reply actions

ok you’re right.

but kobe and duncan are the best of the fading era. hopefully yao can stay healthy.

This guy is a dumbass

He’s been trolling almost every other BBall blog site on here with this stupid crap.

He also went to the Cavs site and proposed trading Lebron for Scola and apparently according to Fear The Sword, other sites as well.

Ignore him and delete the thread, that’s my advice.
