Do we have to trade Landry ? Who? Brad Miller?

Well I think Landry deserved to be a rocket. Give the guy the chance to blossom. He Got potential and most importantly he has the heart. He did a fair  job on the Houston-Lakers playoff despite the injury .but if the GM already decided to trade  Landry for a draft pick,Who will that be? in my opinion,   try to make a deal  with  Chicago's Brad Miller. I Think Miller will be a great back up center for Yao. He's tough, hard nose defender, and can shoot well in the perimeter.  I like this Guy for his resiliency,  hardwork, and dedication , very "Houston" indeed,  He will definitely be a great addition to the team.

Well definitely NOT Marcus Camby

He gets hurt more than Yao does. Anyways, I’d like Miller too, but lets look at something else here.

What about exploring a deal with the Bulls involving T-Mac for Miller and an athletic wing (A John Salmons, sign-n-trade Ben Gordon or Luol Deng…or two of these guys)?

I like Brad Miller’s game for several reasons.
1.) Quality backup who could start
2.) He knows Rick Adelman’s system
3.) Can work the high post while Landry works down low

There are plenty more, but this is what I’ll leave for now.

That Actually

Sounds pretty good. I think both Ben Gordon and John Salmons are underrated players and the whole Bulls team showed alot of heart in their opening round exit this year.

I agree that Miller would be a great backup to Yao. Still I would like to see what we can get, if anything, out of McGrady before we trade him. We’ve seen what we can do and circumstances have changed around him. It will be interesting to see how he apporaches his comeback.

Go Rockets.

Yeah I know

That’s the great unknown: What will McGrady do when he gets back from Microfracture? Will he flop like Penny and C-Webb, or will he show no ill effects like Amare Stodamire and Jason Kidd? That’s the risk with these things. Who knows, Derrick Rose and T-Mac may become a dynamic duo together, but fleecing the Bulls of Salmons, Gordon and Miller could be tasty come next June.

Could we get BOTH Gordon and Salmons along with Miller for T-Mac? That would probably cost us Aaron Brooks to pull off. Man, I don’t want this team torn up too much.

Getting ahead of myself.

You gotta admit it's fun to talk about though.

Here’s what I think.

T-Mac for Miller and Salmons.

I think in terms of potential Salmons > Gordon.

If we had to throw something else in to get that then we’d be able to get away with alot less than with Gordon or all three.

Having said that I still say wait and see how T-Mac produces even if we miss out on the trade altogether.

Go Rockets.
