Houston need a legit back up center regardless of Yao's situation.

Regardless of the situation , we still need a back up center. I think of either Brad Miller or Mehmet Okur can fill up that position. But i prefer Brad since he got good offense and he's a hard nose defender,.Moreover, He is well familiar with Adelman system. (where they both in Sacramento back then). But the only big question mark is , how can we get either of them? Whom do we trade?

has a contract for one more year but okur is probably about to opt out of his deal so we would have to trade for miller but we could just sign okur

They think they need a back up now?? they"ve needed one for a long time instead they pick up guards a forward in da draft n again no C??? y i dnt know?
They did what they could in the draft based on value.
Many people had Buddinger as a first rounder. I don’t see how it’s a bad deal to pick him up that late. Also, there was no decent options in this draft at the Center position.
