What does Houston really need?

Hey Rockets Nation,

I've been worried about yao and i think that we need to trade Mcgrady for someone good...even if it means givin up someone else....or(stupid idea) we could trade yao for Lebron and Big Z? A thought........What do u guys think?

I mean....i need 75 words so i guess this is an important issue...Trade Yao T-mac for lessinjury prone superstarslike lebron or wait? What do u think?

Assessing the Rockets on a scale of 1-10

Point Guard: Brooks and Lowry are as solid as they come (as written in a previous post). Brooks is the more explosive player and has better range, while Lowry is more like the change-of-pace bulldog. Brent Barry is the emergency 3rd PG. Need: 2

Shooting Guard: As of right now, the depth chart reads McGrady/Barry/White/Taylor as Artest and Wafer are free agents. With T-Mac’s health a question, and the free agent status of the top two guys from last year, I’d probably bet that finding a slashing 2-guard would be important, considering all the trade “presumptions” involving T-Mac. Need: 9

Small Forward: Not a huge “need” position, but one that could be addressed with the addition of a new shooting guard or the resigning of Ron Artest. Battier leads here, and Artest usually was the prime backup. White can backup here, and so can Buddinger. Again, this one goes more with the shooting guard spot. Need: 4

Power Forward: Stacked here with Scola, Landry, Hayes and Dorsey. Hayes, Dorsey and Scola can also play at 5. Need: 0

Center: With the Yao Ming status still up in the air, this one kind of wavers. However, this team did need someone who was capable of playing behind Yao, and yes, while it eats into Hayes and Dorsey’s minutes (as well as the amount of Scola-Landry time we get), we do need a sturdy big who can play in case stuff does happen to our great wall. Need: 7

Forget it

1- I DO NOT want to trade T-Mac….Enough of this!!!
2- Yao for King James? Are you serious?
3- YES…Lets get Gortat & re-sign Artest.
4- Pray that Yao & T-Mac are healthy next season!!!

This poll is inherently flawed

Remove Lebron from the poll, and I’ll think about voting.

I think what Houston needs...

…Is to find someone to exorcise this curse. An old priest and a young priest maybe?

Pffffffft

This poll is a waste of time.
Gortat is a RFA so here is no trade needed unless it’s a sign and trade, which would cost us too much!
Lebron is un tradable

"It's who we are," Battier said. "I don't think we're going to get the love of the six foot blonde bombshell. That's what the Lakers are here for. It's alright, I like our demographic."
