Ben Wallace (and I guess Tyson Chandler)

So i have read today, that the suns are probably going to by out both Sasha Pavlovic and Ben Wallace. I am here to talk about the Houston Rockets going after Ben Wallace.

These moves are being coordinated with the negotiation of a contract buyout with Ben Wallace, acquired with Sasha Pavlovic in the Shaquille O'Neal trade. Wallace and the Suns are close to finalizing a $10 million buyout from the $14 million salary he is owed in the final year of his contract. If that is the final amount the parties negotiate, it would save the Suns $8 million in all ($4 million in salary and $4 million in luxury tax) if the Suns exceed the tax threshold again next season.

Listen guys, many of you are probably going to reply that he is old and injured. But guys, Wallace is a defensive stud and can be our Center for the next year. Not sure how much he would cost but should not cost sooo...much. Also if you guys think that would be bad, then we can always sign wallace then trade him to the hornets for Chandler (apparently, NO wants to trade chandler for wallace). Chandler would also be a good 1 year fill in.

What do you guys think?

Sign Ben Wallace

Sign Ben Wallace and trade him to the Hornets for Tyson Chandler

Don't sign either?

No. Wallace doesn’t have anything left. He can’t guard anyone anymore. I’d rather use the roster spot to build up a young guy than give it to a dinosaur.

We already have a Ben

His name is Dorsey. Besides neither Ben or Dorsey is tall enough to play center without being abused by 7 footers.

well

Hell no! Dorsey is just as good if not better. And thats not saying alot for Wallace. Dorsey may not be tall enough to play Center..but hes damn sure wide enough..and strong enought too. Id play Dorsey at center for the time. It would probably be easy to drop a hook shot over his head but as big as he is you shouldnt be able to back him down that close for an easy shot. They felt the need to play Chuck at C why not Dorsey.
