Around SBN: MLB Trade Rumors: Edwin Jackson to the White Sox, DC next?

How about acquiring Rubio or Rudy Fernandez to complete the roster.

Having one or both of them will complete the cast..and make us a formidable , competitive Rockets coming this season. But  the big question is , How???, whom do we have to trade?

Their playing style , and good offensive prowess will definitely a great add-on to Houston brand of play and it fits very well with Adelman's System.

At least we know already the worth of Rudy F.  Well about Rubio , he got potential, and can develop to be one of premier guard in the NBA.. And its better for him to blossom wearing  a Rockets uniform...

What do you think guys? Aside from them, do you have any other players in mind that is more valuable, or say realistic enough to acquire?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By the Way.....Hail Morey! We have now a promising Back up Center = Big David Andersen..Great job! Keep it going!

Both good players...

Ricky is wishful thinking….Rudy more probable…neither will happen though….

Well anyone that doesn't want them is being silly

But it’s who you have to give up for them that makes it a bigger point of contention

No way

the rockets land rubio. might as well add lebron and dwade to the list too

It's about 1 trillion times more of a chance than landing Lebron

And while I don’t think DWade comes here, the chance is actually decent that he would have some interest

despite being improbable

neither of those acquisitions would necessarily make us significantly more competitive. rudy would be another complementary piece, but those pieces dont matter without superstar players who are being complemented by their presence. hence the term. i would love seeing wade here, and dont think its impossible that he lands here (no agreement on extension, and maybe the rockets asked for this jersey change up to not force wade to change his number. . . wishful thinking).

Wafer . . . again. (Marv Albert, HOU v. CLE Feb 2009)
-one of the FEW at Toyota Center who has the Wafer jersey

if we got any more competitive from either of those moves [rubio or fernandez]

it would be like competing for the 6 spot instead of the 8 spot.

If you were the GM

who would you be willing to trade for Rudy?

Keep in mind this trade needs to work for both teams.

Big D from Blog-A-Bull - "Pritchard is such a genius that teams just give him players for free."

Greg Oden - The only other rookie with more than 500 points, 400 rebounds, and 65 blocks in under 1400 minutes played. Since 1946
