How about acquiring Oberto and Udoka to Houston?

Oberto is 6'10' listed at Pf position..but can he play as a center? well Scola knows him very well. . can be a plus factor.. and Udoka, who has decent shot.. and can play defense....and Who among houston players can we trade? or is it not worth a deal? Im running out of options, since a theres only a handful left on the center slot free agency.. since we are on the brink of rebuilding again.. but who knows maybe we can still be a playoff contender this coming season.. thanks to our never-say-die , very supportive fans and a genious Gm Morey on our side..anything can happen.. Soar High Rockets!

Oberto was one of the worst players in the league last year. There’s a reason the Spurs were so desperate to sign Gooden last year. Udoka is really redundant on our team given our current roster.

and i’ll be objective here.

oberto – great on help side defense. one on one? he might as well be invisible. he is OLD.

udoka – i was hoping he’d be the next bruce bowen/dirty version of battier for the next couple of seasons. bowen has a awesome corner 3. udoka can’t do anything other than defend decently. getting RJ put my mind at ease. with finley opting in, udoka is very redundant.

now to get rid of jacque vaughn and matt bonner. . .
