T-Mac way ahead of schedule

Rockets GM Daryl Morey says Tracy McGrady is "way, way ahead of schedule" in his rehab from microfracture knee surgery.

"He's already playing," Morey said. "[But] he still has a long way to go. There is a lot of rust to shake off." It certainly sounds like McGrady will be back well before the All Star break, but it's anyone's guess whether he'll resemble the explosive scorer of past years. Draft him with due caution. Yay?

No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Thanks.

GM’s kept hanging up on Morey whenever he tried to suggest a McGrady trade. So now he’s reduced to spinning a T-Mac comeback.

Sadly, that idea of a “big trade” might be dead now :(

Same old story

First they say Tmac is ahead of schedule, then they rush him in before he is 100% and Tmac plays hurt and injures himself again. Someone in the Rockets management needs to be fired.

doesnt matter

if hes ahead of schedule or not all that matters is what happens by the trade deadline. if teams with “superstar” players are losing & that star says he is not resigning with the team they will want TMacs contract to try & lure another star over to their team. I think Morey is going to wait (along with other teams) til the deadline to see what the league is lookin like & a trade will happen before the deadline! That is unless TMac comes back as the league scoring leader TMac…. doubtful but who knows

..aint no place & no teams like HOUSTON's!!
