ESPN Power Rankings 9/25
This is just laughable how so many people continue to neglect that we're a pretty damn good team even without Yao and McGrady. The team that beat the Lakers at home without either of those stars gained Ariza (upgrade over Artest), Andersen, Budinger, and Taylor. It's pretty obvious that T-Mac is going to return much earlier than expected. It's the worst kept secret in Houston right now, and yet people still think we're lottery bound LOL.
Rockets are ranked 22nd out of 30 teams. The Thunder, Clippers, and Bobcats are ranked ahead of us. Just wow. Definite bulletin board material.
No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Thanks.

Well, I’m surprised the Clippers and the Thunder are ahead of us. The Thunder will probably do well, but they are completely unproven.
I’m not surprised that the Bobcats are ahead of us though.

Well, I will give you that you don’t belong 22nd. I will also give you that you aren’t going to be as bad as expected without Yao and T-Mac. Personally I always thought you were a tougher matchup for the Lakers without them.
However I am not sure about the Ariza > Artest part. Do you mean he is a better fit for the Rockets? Or are you including the possibility of extra curricular activity? Because outside of those two things Artest > Ariza. Personally I am rooting for Ariza as I like his game, his attitude, and his personal story. I also think his agent screwed him out of a return to LA which I think was his first choice. However I also think he benefited from being the 5 best player on the court most of the time in LA and had a lot of room to maneuver. He can’t create his own shot, and I don’t think he will be getting nearly as many open threes.
We will see soon, thank god. Tired of waiting.
Well, sir, you are a cowardly son of a bitch! You just shot an unarmed man!.......Well, he should have armed himself if he's going to decorate his saloon with my friend. – Will Munny

Don’t forget that they have 8 national games on top of that.

no national coverage and no respect
that’s ok, though. i think the rockets play better with a chip on their shoulder. Let’s see if Scola can shine

Are they talking about the same Rockets who just took the Lakers to 7 games without Yao or Tracy? Didn’t I just read about Scola and an MVP award in the International League during the summer? The Rockets have recently gotten younger and faster and will finally be playing the Adelman offense. 53 wins last year. 55 coming this year. I don’t know what they’re smoking at ESPN, but it’s clouding their crystal ball.
