Are you kidding me, Rafer?  Grrrrrrrr!!

The Rockets lost to the Miami Heat.  At home.

Okay, that's bad.  But it's not that bad.  I will get over this.

/checks Miami roster
//sees Rafer Alston is now a member of the Heat

///checks Rafer Alston's box score from tonight

$(**&#$@*(&!!!!!!!!

We let Rafer freakin' Alston shoot 70% from the field against us?

Maybe we should simply have left him alone (as he was only 1-4 from the charity stripe).  I thought I was done with you, Rafer!  Dammit.  I hate you so very, very much.

Dear members of the Houston Rockets... this is unacceptable.  F--k!!!!

/too angry to type any more tonight

I sure showed them

I bet that’s what Rafer is thinking right now. Personally, I would take Rafer beating us tonight over Rafer playing for the us, any day. The tear-drops were going to kill me one day.

Alston doing this well only proves that old saying:

“The sun shines even on a dog’s a*s once in a while”.

I chalk it up to Brooks having logged all those minutes those last 2 games and having his birthday on Thursday.

I’m sure he didn’t get enough rest for this game VS the Heat. That’s why he only scored 14 points himself…

I had to stop arguing with drunks, Steeler fans, and all other fools.
It was making my brick wall jealous...

Rafer is extremely lucky to have gone to two play-off contending teams

after being traded away by us. I’m happy for him. (Even without his play, I think the Heat would still have won.) He wasn’t a good fit for our team and now he’s found a team that he can fit. While he was here, he tried his best and I can respect that.

Agreed.

But his stat line tonight still pisses me off.

Keep the faith ... knowing who our guys are, they'll snap out of their funk ... soon

They just need lots of rest. Even Coach RA.

Hopefully the All-Star break (which we are limping to) can give them time to recharge and recalibrate.

Yeah, even RA must be pretty tired too! He was kinda cranky in his response to why a loss after leading by 17.

Grrrr....

Rafer will still need about five games to come up with 43 points…..Still glad I don’t have to have his tear drop give me tears any more

Dirk makes kids cry......just another reason why he sucks.

Rafer vs Ariza

Rafer sure looked a lot better than Trevor Ariza. How long are the Rockets going to continue to pretend that Trevor Ariza is a starting NBA player?

by Gulder_Roy on Jan 18, 2010 8:42 AM CST reply actions   0 recs

Your alternative is?

And it’s not Chase. The guy is a rookie, he needs to improve on his defense, and he’s much more inconsistent than Ariza, especially since he came back from his injury. This game against the Heat was his first good game, and even then he got burned on the defensive end especially. I like Chase, but I think anyone who thinks he’s already superior to Ariza is overhyping the kid.

Oops

I meant “first good game since he returned.”

Coach Adleman Re: Ariza

How long can you suffer with Ariza’s shooting??Are you kidding me? He is not a “go to” player! He should not play more than 20-25 minutes a game.
He has never been more then a 6th or 7th man in his career. How about you give 5mins of his time and 5mins of Battier’s time to Chase. This kid can play and appears not to have many weaknesses. You can’t have Battier and Ariza on the court together, especially with Hayes. Where is the scoring coming from?? I do understand that is a defensive team but you need a quick start.Other wise a great job of coaching. My two cents! Good luck in the 2nd half.
