This is the system the NBA has chosen.
If it sometimes produces results where TMac gets chosen for 42 total minutes in 2009-2010 so be it. Since no one plays any D whatsoever in the ASG (nor do I want them to) TMac will look pretty good. Because he’ll be in, even if he’s not a starter, right?

Starters were decided by fan balloting at NBA arenas and electronically. The reserves will be chosen by votes by the head coaches in each conference and will be announced next Thursday.
