The Texans win! (And in a related story, I am disappointed in Aaron Brooks)

I had the pleasure of attending the Houston Texans' comeback victory over the New England Patriots today. Once again, Bernard Pollard made Tom Brady his bitch. It was a good day.

I even got to sit one row behind Aaron Brooks... yes, ABZ was at the game. For a while.

Sadly, when the Texans went down 27-13........... ABZ left. He just up and left. He missed every moment of the epic 21 point comeback that secured a Texans' victory (and a winning season). Brooks' actions greatly disappointed me.

A true fan stays until the end, Aaron.

The only way I will be truly disappointed today...

…is if Cincinnati benches its starters and throws the game. I’ll be pretty irritated if the Jets get in because they played against two consecutive teams not playing to win. Otherwise if they win fair and square, that’s cool, I’m happy with a winning record and the Texans should have taken care of business within the division.

I tend to leave athletes/famous people alone… I’m not 14 and I don’t want an autograph, so I find a forced conversation kinda creepy. Now, if I ever am at an official function and am blessed with a media pass of some sort – that’s different.
