Kyle Lowry reports the result of his MRI on Twitter. He says it's a sprain/strain and a 2 week absence. That's honestly a relief. Get well soon Kyle, we'll miss you.

Well, at least it's not serious...

…but still, ouch. Lowry coming off the bench was huge for us, this is a pretty bad time for him to go down. Hope our season doesn’t go down the crapper. Of course, maybe it’ll just mean more minutes for AB… will be interesting to see if he can maintain this level of scoring with even higher usage.

What happened to Von Wafer?
Last i heard was that he paid to get out of his contract overseas, then failed a physical due to back problems.
Is he still NBA capable?
Or is he and morey comming up with a new hair style for his return?

I can give you a comment direct from Daryl Morey on Wafer.

Yes, he was going to be signed by Houston, but failed his physical.

When asked about Von, Daryl Morey (last night) said that he had been in contact with Von’s representatives and that they said Von was healthy, or soon would be (I’m not sure which). He stated they’d take another look at him. This was before the Lowry injury.

In a radio interview, DM said that Von's injury was "pretty serious"

I think a back injury was the one usually mentioned. That’s why the Rockets are taking their time in assessing Von Wafer.
