distraction
this is such a distraction to the team! how dare Yao only think of himself and go off and have sex of all things without consulting with RA and Morey?!, this is unheard of, he is such a diva! he needs to be focused on how to make the rockets better, not trying to build a family, there’s no Yao in team…nor is there a baby in it!

if you know me...
You’d know that I’d agree to this.
Look at the distraction Lee’s two kids have caused him – he doesn’t even have time to write anymore! ;-)
lol (this is where i pull 3 unloaded guns on you)
i just hope aaron brooks isnt driving to the rack with only a few seconds left on the clock wondering if yao is going to make him the godfather…that would be a disaster
Um, I think it was pretty much obligatory that
Yao and Mrs. Yao produce another superior Chinese basketball product.
And if you track the downward spiral in McGrady’s career – it coincides with children and his inability to get 16 hours of sleep a day.
I am only sort of kidding.
btw
If there is a God… Yao will give his kid a very, very americanized urban name.
since the surname in China is the first name, what do you think Yao’s kid’s name will be???
Yao Kobe
Has a nice ring to it

chill it, you yahoos....
traditionally, chinese doesn’t like people talk too much about their unborn (kids), consider it bad luck for the kid(s)‘. i know we all really love Yao, but let’s keep the level of jokes low for now.
best of luck, you’ll see raising kids is pretty much like playing in the game.
- from one parent to 2 parent-to-be.
don't bully me, i am from the D(etroit)!!!
Congratulations to Yao
Do the Chinese still have that limit on children or do they make an exception for Yao and let him have as many kids as he wants?
Graciously
China has allowed Yao to produce as many children as possible for for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of China

as an unwritten rule, few possible ways
1. if the parents are both single child of their home. (someone can verify that if Yao & his wife is the only child of their home, aka, grandparents household); OR.
2. the child turns out to be a girl, then then can get another try;
3. they YAOs decide to have the kid born elsewhere (not in mainland China), then they can have as many as they wanted. <— oh, then the child wouldn’t be the property of the Chinese Government.
and the rule don’t make exceptions for ANYONE, BUT most people has power & finincal means, goes for option #3.
and i think i talked too much already. off the soapbox now.
don't bully me, i am from the D(etroit)!!!
But isn't Yao's wife a Chinese national women's BBall star?
I’d think they’d encourage lots of kids – Yao’s parents were much the same, but sadly only one Yao (or one Ming). How foolish is that?
Rule #2 is incorrect
They can have two kids regardless of gender, in China, as long as they are both only-child themselves.
But rule 3 is what matters, they can have as many as they want.
Who does Yao think he is....Tracy McGrady????
Why is Yao releasing information about himself through sources not known as the Houston Rockets?? Only T-Mac does that. What the fuck Yao??
p.s. Congrats big fella
"Every time you turn on ESPN you see Bama" - Earl Thomas' answer when asked what excites him most about the National Championship.
To all Houston sports fans, Houston is the 4th biggest city in America, there will be traffic on the way to your respective sports game. Come Early, Be Loud, Stay Late.
It wasn't him that leaked the info, but still very unprofessional in his conduct to not inform the Rockets of his extracurriculars first
This is true. Also, Yao should probably vet the menu at his new place with Morey first.
Just to be sure it’s team-oriented.
And YAO if you are reading here (and you aren’t but still)
WE WANT (good) SHANGHAI SOUP DUMPLINGS (Xiaolongbao). MAKE IT HAPPEN!
does Yao Restaurant has that on the menu?
has anyone went to that place? how was it?
don't bully me, i am from the D(etroit)!!!
I had a friend report that it didn't.
Which is a shame, since he’s a Shanghai guy, and there are plenty of good fresh crabs here to make the filling.
Does the NBA have a Father/son rule like the AFL
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Father-Son_Rule
If so that would be great for Houston!!!
2/3 OF THE EARTHS SURFACE IS COVERED BY WATER, THE OTHER 3RD IS COVER BY CHUCK HAYES
that's awesome
no, sadly, the NBA doesn’t have anything like that. Way back in the day, teams used to be able to select players based off of where they played in college or their birthplace.
