Is there any truth to this?

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/320976-larry-legend-preparing-to-tear-pacers-apart-with-blockbuster-deal

I found this article on the bleacher report and I was wondering if any one else heard the same thing?

In short the article says the Pacers are going into full salary dump and are making a trade with the Rockets:

Rockets get: Danny Granger, Troy Murphy, and Mike Dunleavy

Pacers get: TMac, waste of space(Brian Cook), and a pick

I don't think Morey would do this deal, but I'm not sure.

No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Do not cut/paste entire sections of content from other websites. Thanks.

UM if theres any truth

then IM UP FOR THIS…I dont mind taking out dunleavy and the pick…whatever, this trade is a good to go from me

this deal works for me

granger is a good player, and potential great player with more work… murphy can shoot and dunleavy is a good guard especially in open court. All three are relatively young still as well.

If this deal is legit, morey would be idiotic not to take it and run. At the very least, all three have trade value for us should we want to deal them at a later time.

Man, I wish I could just make up bullshit and have people believe it.

Oh wait, I CAN!

Seriously, folks, Bleacher Report is the equivalent of making a fanpost. It’s just random crap.

Ouch

What OAL meant to say is “Fanposts are awesome, and keep doing them. Bleacher Report is the equivalent of the Enquirer”

After Futher Research

I have read some more articles on this website and realized all the writers have no clue what is going on! It looks like they all through crap against the wall to see if anything sticks.

I WISH THIS WAS TRUE

Morey is a MIT Grad!! (SMART A$$ $HIT) Pretty sure if this was legit would jump all over it.

I saw that too, but it was Bleacher so???

Granger would be an awesome pick up but could he play 2 guard? I’m just thinking cause we’d be heavy on the SF position with this move. Also he’s been hurt lately so i think I’d still prefer the Iguodala deal. But I do like Granger & Hibbert as a throw in back up C,lol!

I seriously doubt it.

But yes – I’d take that in a heartbeat. Morey would, too, I’d imagine.

But it’s all pipedreams. But one of the nicer ones I’ve seen.

Indy is supposed to be in deep financial trouble, but they’d have to be basically dying to do that one.

Granger is one of the games lesser known great players – that deal is practically like being paid to take him.

But you know, stranger things have happened – right Pau Gasol?

ugh

Stop being gullible.

There isn’t a trade in the world that can or will be done with both T-Mac AND Brian Cook being packaged together.

by grungedave on Jan 6, 2010 10:44 PM CST reply actions

i kinda want to keep cook

who else do i get to rag on? besides we can use his money to spend on scola.

I didn't think Larry Bird was Isiah Thomas-esque

Man, this trade goes through, and that Pau Gasol deal becomes…well, forgotten. Yes, Mike Dunleavy can’t stay healthy. Yes, Troy Murphy is a David Andersen clone, but Danny Granger???? You talk about talented swingmen to pair with Yao?

PG: Brooks/Lowry
SG: Ariza/Budinger/Taylor
SF: Granger/Battier/Dunleavy
PF: Scola/Landry/Hayes
C: Yao/Murphy/Andersen

Even if the Pacers ask for one of our young guys (Budinger in this case), I’d still do the deal.

In Daryl Morey, Rick Smith and Ed Wade we (usually) trust.
