Freedarko has done a terrific job

of really covering all aspects of Hakeem’s career, teammates, and titles from extremely interesting perspectives. I didn’t realize they were doing it until a week after they started, so I had about 5 long articles to read, but I’ve checked back everyday since and “Dream Week” is kind of turning into “Dream Month” over there. It just won’t end. Not like I’m complaining. It’s really great stuff.

Also, props to Freedarko for not choosing the obvious candidate(s) for this kind of project. Hakeem is a class all to himself but unfortunately he gets unfairly overshadowed. He was arguable (i.e. most definitely WAS) the second best player of the ’90s. Too bad Jordan was so big we forget about Olajuwon.

Too bad they didn’t find any actual Rockets fans, but otherwise, just great.
